In Niamey, Freyssinet has just completed its work on the Diori Hamani interchange construction and redevelopment project, which aims to improve the flow of traffic in the capital.
Since September 2017, Freyssinet has been on site to carry out all of the suspension operations on the structure built over the Perené River, on the edge of the Amazon rainforest.
In partnership with GE (Alstom), Freyssinet designed and built 36 wind turbines equipped with Alstom ECO 122 2.7 MW turbines at a hub height of 119 meters.
Between May 2012 and April 2015, Freyssinet took part in the project aimed at improving the road infrastructures for the Port of Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The programme included the construction of a 2.3 km viaduct that prolongs Dammam's Coastal Road and straddles the extremely busy Port Road and the railway line serving the port. A construction method never before seen in Saudi Arabia was used for this precast segmental bridge, which was erected by means of a launching gantry.
